04/01/06 - Parts available for AMSCO Eagle 2000 series controls
Continental Equipment Company is pleased to announce the availability of control parts for the AMSCO Eagle 2000 series controls. As many owners of AMSCO Eagle 2000 series sterilizers know, Steris/AMSCO no longer supports control parts for this equipment. In a letter from Steris (PDF) to their customers dated 7/12/2004, Steris states, “as of December 31, 2004, Steris Corporation will no long be able to provide contract service support or parts for Eagle 2000 controls.”
James Bell, President of Continental Equipment Company, says customers in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industries need options. “We understand that many of our customers have budgetary restraints that do not allow them to purchase new sterilizers. As a result, it is imperative that they keep their current units performing. We are delighted to have the ability to offer our customers reconditioned power supplies and printed circuit boards for their units.”
