Training > Maintenance Training Overview

Continental Equipment Company is currently enrolling maintenance training classes at our facility in Tonganoxie, KS. Training is presented from a practical viewpoint that gives your technicians the knowledge necessary to begin a comprehensive preventive maintenance and repair program. Our maintenance training is done in a classroom setting with a maximum of 6 students to allow one-on-one technician/trainer interface. Upon completion of the course, students will receive up to 40 hours of course credit toward a continuing education certificate.

Training Facilitator: Herb Bridges
Herb Bridges is a qualified trainer with 30 years of experience in the sterilizer field. He has provided training nationally since 1993. Herb facilitates a three or five day class which includes: equipment theory, controls and piping components, hands-on lab work covering service, preventive maintenance, safety and documentation.

Testimonial: “Herb Bridges provided some great training. I had two techs trained. Theory was covered well with handouts and charts. There was lots of hands-on to reinforce the theory. Part of the training was performing the preventive maintenance. One of the two techs trained had been to the Steris course on 3013 sterilizers and this training was much better, and lower cost. It’s great to be able to recommend a company that gives value for cost. I’d certainly use them again for any training they can provide.” Brian Wiedeman, Martha Jefferson Hospital
